Chapter 36 deals with a special inheritance problem. If women married outside their tribe their land would then pass to another tribe when they died, resulting in another tribe taking possession of a plot of land in the midst of another tribe’s lands.
Luke 4 - Verses 1-13 - watch how Jesus defeats temptation by using the Scriptures. Verse 1 emphasizes the Spirit’s work, but the practical outgrowth of being led by the Spirit is knowing your Bible so you can use it to overcome the devil! Verses 14-30 show Jesus being rejected at Nazareth, His hometown. They cannot get over knowing about His humble origins.
